Susan Brody founded Family Legacies in the year 2000, based on an African saying, “When an elder dies, it’s as if an entire library has burned down”.  She is passionate about preserving these libraries of wisdom, knowledge, values, and hard-earned life lessons on film, so that younger generations will understand their roots and know they are a part of something larger than themselves.

A lifetime of achievement, if not properly recorded, is lost and forgotten after three generations – just 60 to 80 years.
